OUR SERVICES
Emmo Tennis is a tennis club management company which includes but is not limited to, tennis club management, tennis court maintenance, tennis instruction, tennis retail, and tennis tournament staffing. Currently, EMMO TENNIS manages at Lake Murray Tennis Club.
MANAGEMENT
Providing employees that are covered under workers compensation. Their duties are: answering phones during office hours, providing information to members and non members on the club being managed, taking court reservations, pro shop sales and stringing, promoting the club at all times and also during after hours. Manager's duties include: being responsible for all employees and their actions. Attending all board of directors meetings and having a managers report ready to discuss each month. We will also have regular office hours and will be working many shifts at the club. We are available 24 hours a day every day for any questions or concerns. COURT MAINTANENCE
Washing courts and screens, sweeping courts and surrounding areas each day, taking trash to dumpsters, court checks periodically throughout the day, fixing nets, net straps, court trays, etc., and reporting all repairs needed to the board of directors.
INSTRUCTION
Providing a uspta certified head teaching professional who would be in charge of all assistant professionals. Duties include private lessons, group lessons, semi-private lessons, clinics, and junior summer camps. We teach all levels, and ages.
RETAIL
Provide a full pro shop that includes: Head, Prince, Wilson, and Yonex rackets and shoes. Also includes: accessories such as strings, grips, bumpers, grommets, sweat bands, hats , tennis balls, and bags. Racket repairs and 24 hours stringing are also included.
We also provide staffing for all tournaments, and special events. Umpires included when needed.
THE CREW

Dan Emmerson
Dan is a uspta certified p1 professional with 28 years of experience in the tennis industry. He teaches full time at lmtc while managing the club and owning the pro shop. He is a usta national certified referee and umpire, on the yonex pro team, and also serves on the board of directors for the united states professional tennis association.

Kathy Emmerson
Kathy is the current manager at Lake Murray Tennis Club and owns the Emmo Tennis Pro Shop with her husband Dan. She is a former division 1 collegiate player, c.i.f. champion and national father-daughter and mother-daughter gold ball winner. She is also on the yonex pro team. Kathy has over 25 years of coaching and managing skills as well as racket repair experience.

Georgia TurnerGeorgia Turner
(Mom of Kathy)
Georgia is the mom in Emmo! In 1957 she started the first girl’s competitive tennis league as coach at Grossmont High School. She is a 7 time national doubles and singles champion in age divisions on clay, hardcourts & indoors. In 1986 the Turner’s were San Diego Tennis Family of The Year! Now Georgia is enjoying playing league for Lake Murray Tennis Club and also competes nationally with Kathy. Tennis is truly a family affair! (p.s. sometimes you will find dad behind the desk as well - Jay Turner)

Danielle Bryan
(Daughter of Kathy and Dan)
Danielle is currently attending San Diego State University and majoring in kinesiology. She also attends Grossmont Junior College where she plays on the womens tennis team. She was also awarded the Female Athlete Of The Year award for 2009 from Grossmont College. Danielle competes at Lake Murray Tennis Club playing WTT and womens league with her mom! She has been on the courts since she was a baby and just recently has been playing competitive tennis. You will see her hitting the ball harder than any and her nickname is the beast! Ask her the tennis questions and she will help you with the answers!

AJ Lawson
Aj is now attending Grossmont Junior College and assists the head coach at Grossmont JC, and Patrick Henry High School Varsity Badminton teams. Aj competed on his school football, wrestling, and badmintons teams throughout his high school career. Since tennis is so closely related to badminton he knows many avenues of the game. He loves to string and will get your racket done for you while you wait!

Matt Worthington
Matt is a Special Ed teacher at Helix High School.  When he isn't teaching he heads over to Grossmont Junior College to assist the Womens Tennis Team.  He gets to play many tournaments over the weekends and also plays on our LMTC league teams.  Matt is very knowledgable in all aspects of the tennis community in San Diego.
